After having ice cold unsweetened soya milk with mixed berries granola,she put on a tight white floral dress with outstanding floral prints on and headed out of home feeling mildly embarrassed for being late,as usual.Supposedly supposed to meet one of her closer secondary school friend, Pj at 845am but the time on the watch was half past eight.
Not in the right state of mind,and feeling extremely wealthy,she nearly took a cab but she did not.They met at around 9am in at Outram Park Station but she read something upsetting on twitter.Her plan to rockstar warehouse sales was ruined,they had to stop people from entering the building.It was an unfortunate situation but him being really positive decided they should still try their luck.
The queue went a long way,around 2km from the exact location,flooding all the way to a traffic light.Ironically,she found it humorous to see people who were in their late 10s and early 20s being so spontaneous over a sales which might take up several hours of their youth under the unforgiving,murderous sun.Most of the people were all dressed up,decked from top to toe in high fashion and looked rather painful under the mid morning sun.Trying their luck,they walked all the way down to the front of the queue,looking out for a glimpse of familiar face who would bring them some empty hope.Sadly, she didn't met any but he did but both was too embarrassed to ask for a cut in queue.
Under the blistering sun,they decided to head to town as she wanted to look for a camera.The thoughts of having another camera had cross her mind multiple times these days and she thinks it might be her last love.He left her,having a wider visual about photography...and certainly photos.
Following random intuitions,they went to orchard central and both of them exchanged comfortable conversations throughout the hours.She felt comfortable speaking to him and because they share the same interest in fashion and art appreciation and she was extremely tempted to purchase items from the branded stores in that building.Cheap monday jeans,bralet and doctor martens,she loved stealing glances at them but she didn't feel the need to own them.
They went on to meet another secondary friend of theirs,liu fan. They had ippudo's ramen after she suggested the idea and was appalled by their instant agreements.Spent almost an 45 mintues waiting but the wait didn't feel long. She blabbered throughout the wait,trying to share as much details she could about her new found job. The ramen came delicious but the soup slightly salty to her liking.The pork was too raw for her palate and she felt that the highlight was the tamago that was half cooked inside out.
After the sumptuous and costly meal they decided to head to the heart of the town for a movie. They bought a 410pm time slot for their movie before heading for some shopping at Rockstar.She loves that place and despite their overpriced items,she never found it a problem being loyal towards them.The shop never fails to intensify her craving her beautiful vintage shoes and sneakers and she could swore there wasn't much items she didn't fancy.True enough,it didn't take her long before she and found a pair of mint sneakers which she already had her mind on buying.It was lovely and dirt cheap but unfortunately,they already had their rightful owners. Well,that didn't stop her from buying a piece of lovely top.The top was on her mind since the day she tried few weeks back and she was sure about it.
Unaware of time slipping through their train of thoughts,they hurriedly rushed to the theatre and coincidentally,she met someone familiar at the lift.Marcus was looking skinny.Much skinnier than before and she found it worrying.She couldn't help paying attention to his addidas' geek-liked spectacles and found it rather suitable for him.His brother looked out of place and he didn't cast any glances towards her at all.She noticed his earring too and found it amusing.
The Expandables 2 started 10 minutes ago and she tried to figure out the contents of the movie. There was a little bit of jet li and a little bit of hollywood actors but she couldn't really understand the plot for the first half an hour.Trying hard to hide herself from sleeping,she breathe hard to prevent herself from dozing off too much.The last hour of the movie was rather intense and thank god for ending the long speeches.There was more gun power and the zest of the movie starting coming through.However,they found that the ending was abrupt and rather dull.
The rest of the day was spent at the Scape's flea and she brought a velvet army green overall which fortunately,looked flattering on her.They went Artease and had a pretty bland pudding milktea but a good catch up over the past time and their views on certain people.Afterwhich,she went to browse through cameras at Best Denki and found Cannon G12.The machine was solid and sturdy,and she knows it wouldn't take too long a time before it would become hers.
They went home after a light dinner and they left her before the clock striked 10. It was a well spent day and she had not expected it to be so comfortable with her presence around them.She knows that they are friends to keep and can't help feeling grateful for today.
She is going to meet another friend of hers who just went through the confinement period.It would be a good day tomorrow and she would be playing badminton tomorrow with her cousins in the morning.She realised she had been blogging since 12:15am and her eyelids are feeling the gravity.She goes to bed soon.
